A Simple Backend
A Simple Backend can bring order to a chaotic WordPress admin by putting a minimalist interface in place whilst always keeping the full power of WordPress within easy reach.
A Simple Backend will make several enhancements to the WordPress CMS such as a minimalist interface throughout, subtle responsive design changes for improved mobile use and much more. This isn’t your ordinary admin cleanup plugin. A Simple Backend was built with the deliverables of designers in mind but from the usage perspective of the client.
It is this simple. Build your website, install the plugin and then build A Simple Backend by activating and editing the simple menu. Now your user has an easy to use administration section but advanced features are always within reach via the WordPress (W) button contained within the “A Simple Backend” menu.
Download & install the zip archive
The plugin package installer can be downloaded from the WP2E project tab called “code”.
1 – Select the version to download if this option is available otherwise the “latest” version of the main plugin will be used.
2 – After downloading the zip archive install the plugin package installer in you local environment and activate the script from the plugin list.
3 – Under the section “Plugins” of the admin dashboard you should see a new “Dependencies & Licenses” link. Follow the instructions from this panel to finalize the installation of the missing dependencies.

- Download the Installer Package

- Install & activate the plugin locally

- Install the suggested dependencies
Tips: Use the WP2E panel to add/suggest new dependencies to the local installation. Press F5 in the list of dependencies if the changes are not displayed right away.
