PowerPress GetID3 1.9.3 add-on
Replaces the GetID3 library used in PowerPress with an older version 1.9.3. for podcast websites using older versions of PHP.
This plugin was intended for podcasters hosting on sites with PHP 5.3 or older. If you still require this plugin we strongy encourage you to contact your web hosting and have your version of PHP upgraded.
If you have PHP 5.4 or newer, you no longer need this plugin.
If you have WordPress version 5.1 or newer, you no longer need this plugin.
If you are using WordPress 5.1+ this plugin will not use the included outdated version of getID3 library and instead use the PowerPress default which is now the getid3 library packaged within WordPress.

Download & install the zip archive
The plugin package installer can be downloaded from the WP2E project tab called “code”.
1 – Select the version to download if this option is available otherwise the “latest” version of the main plugin will be used.
2 – After downloading the zip archive install the plugin package installer in you local environment and activate the script from the plugin list.
3 – Under the section “Plugins” of the admin dashboard you should see a new “Dependencies & Licenses” link. Follow the instructions from this panel to finalize the installation of the missing dependencies.

- Install & activate the plugin locally

- Install the suggested dependencies
Tips: Use the WP2E panel to add/suggest new dependencies to the local installation. Press F5 in the list of dependencies if the changes are not displayed right away.
