เว็บไซต์ที่ทำด้วย WordPress นั้นเป็นธรรมดาที่ URL จะถูกตัดให้เหลือแค่ 200 ตัวอักษร เนื่องจาก Browser เข้าใจเฉพาะภาษาอังกฤษจึงไม่สามารถเข้าใจภาษาไทยได้ จึงจำเป็นที่จะต้องเข้ารหัส URL ที่ไม่ใช่ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อแปลงให้เป็นภาษาอังกฤษซะ เช่น 1 ตัวอักษรในภาษาไทยจะถูกแปลงเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ถึง 3 ตัวอักษร เท่ากับว่า คนไทยสามารถพิพ์ได้แค่ 66 ตัวอักษรเท่านั้น ทำให้บางที URL สั้นกว่าที่คิด.
ปลั๊กอินนี้จะช่วยอะไรคุณบ้าง:
- ช่วยให้สามารถใส่ Slug หรือชื่อ Post Page ได้ถึง 2000 ตัวอักษร
- ช่วยให้ WordPress ตัดคำใน URL ที่เป็นภาษาไทยได้ยาวขึ้นไม่กั๊กแล้ว (ความจริงใช้ได้ทุกภาษาเลยหละ)
- สามารถเพิ่ม แก้ไข ลบ Slug หรือ URLได้ตามปกติ
- เมื่อติดตั้งชื่อ URL ทั้งหมดจะถูกแก้ไขให้โดยอัตโนมัติ
- ทดสอบแล้วใช้ได้ทั้งเว็บ WordPress ธรรมดา และ WordPress Mu.
- เมื่อทำแล้วผมคิดว่า SEO ของคุณน่าจะดีขึ้นมาทันตาเห็น.
- ไม่ต้องห่วงเมื่อคุณถอดการติดตั้ง ระบบจะคืนค่าทั้งหมดกลับเป็นเหมือนเดิมโดยอัตโนมัติ รวมทั้งแก้ไข URL ทุก Post และ Page จากยาวๆ ให้สั้นลงเอง Link จะได้ไม่เสีย

Download & install the zip archive
The plugin package installer can be downloaded from the WP2E project tab called “code”.
1 – Select the version to download if this option is available otherwise the “latest” version of the main plugin will be used.
2 – After downloading the zip archive install the plugin package installer in you local environment and activate the script from the plugin list.
3 – Under the section “Plugins” of the admin dashboard you should see a new “Dependencies & Licenses” link. Follow the instructions from this panel to finalize the installation of the missing dependencies.

- Install the suggested dependencies
Tips: Use the WP2E panel to add/suggest new dependencies to the local installation. Press F5 in the list of dependencies if the changes are not displayed right away.
