Simple Photos Contest
The plugin « Simple Photos Contest » permit to very simply manage a photos contest.

About photos
- You can upload photos, add them a description and a photographer name.
- Photos can be ordered by hand (with the mouse ;-).
- Photos are not add to the WordPress media manager, to keep it clean. They are stored in a dedicated folder.
- Two images are computed to show to visitors: one thumbnail and one view. The original photo is stored too but not displayed to visitors.
About votes
- Vote is open and close automatically between this configured open date and close date.
- Several options are possibles for voters:
** Only one vote by photo,
** or one vote every X hours (like one vote a day). - You can export all votes in a spreadsheet file, some statistics are proposed in this spreadsheet.
- To avoid abuse visitors must be authenticated to be able to vote. Several authentification schemes are available:
** A code sent to a email address
** Google account
** Facebook account
Download & install the zip archive
The plugin package installer can be downloaded from the WP2E project tab called “code”.
1 – Select the version to download if this option is available otherwise the “latest” version of the main plugin will be used.
2 – After downloading the zip archive install the plugin package installer in you local environment and activate the script from the plugin list.
3 – Under the section “Plugins” of the admin dashboard you should see a new “Dependencies & Licenses” link. Follow the instructions from this panel to finalize the installation of the missing dependencies.

- Install & activate the plugin locally

- Install the suggested dependencies
Tips: Use the WP2E panel to add/suggest new dependencies to the local installation. Press F5 in the list of dependencies if the changes are not displayed right away.
