BuddyPress Group Project and Task Management
TaskBreaker is small project management plugin for WordPress. This project management plugin is built as an add-on for BuddyPress.
TaskBreaker contains the following set of features:
General
- Shows a progress bar for each project
- Ability to assign multiple users for each task
- Ability to assign a BuddyPress Group into a project
- Smart task sorting base on priority and deadline
Project Dashboard
- See the total number of tasks inside the project
- See the total number of tasks remaining
- See the total number of tasks completed
Tasks
- Ability to search multiple tasks
- Filter tasks by priority and by completion
- Set deadline for each task
- Upload multiple file attachment for each task
Tasks Discussion
- Ability to add comments to each task
- Update the progress of a task
- Update the priority of a task
- Set the task as ‘Completed’ or ‘In Progress’
Email Notifications
- Sends a notification email to the person assigned in the task
- Sends a notification email when a member of the project under the same task added a new update
- Each user can to turn off email notifications via BuddyPress settings
BP Activity Stream Integration
- Records the activity when a user added a new task
- Records the activity when a user posted an update in the task

Download & install the zip archive
The plugin package installer can be downloaded from the WP2E project tab called “code”.
1 – Select the version to download if this option is available otherwise the “latest” version of the main plugin will be used.
2 – After downloading the zip archive install the plugin package installer in you local environment and activate the script from the plugin list.
3 – Under the section “Plugins” of the admin dashboard you should see a new “Dependencies & Licenses” link. Follow the instructions from this panel to finalize the installation of the missing dependencies.
- Give a name to your project
- Download the Installer Package
- Install & activate the plugin locally
- Install the suggested dependencies
Tips: Use the WP2E panel to add/suggest new dependencies to the local installation. Press F5 in the list of dependencies if the changes are not displayed right away.
