Easily display your family tree on your blog
The most popular family tree plugin for WordPress. This plugin is for family history enthusiasts and genealogists – enabling you to display a family tree and family information on your website.
The free version of the plugin will display a ‘tree’ showing descendants of a specific ancestor anywhere on your site. The plugin is not intended to replace all the features of a desktop family history program. Instead, it is designed to show a tree in your blog and link the people shown to some basic information about them. We recommend using a theme that allows you to specify full width pages as family trees tend to get quite wide!

TreePress Features
- Display a family tree with up to 200 family members in WordPress
- Add unlimited family members, including data such as gender, DOB, DOD, image
- Specify any person as the tree ‘root’ with shortcode
- Display a family tree with links to further information
- Display each family member’s information on an individual page

ADDONS
- TreePress Charts, enables multiple different family tree chart designs. Ancestor and descendent charts, vertical and horizontal charts. Loads of control over design, colour of lines, boxes, back grounds and more! Check out the Add Ons tab in the TreePress sidebar once installed.
- Animal TreePress enables you to rename ‘human’ terms to their animal equivalent – eg ‘Stallion’ and ‘Mare’ or ‘Goose’ and ‘Gander’ if you want to use TreePress for animal pedigrees.
- Gallery allows you to add more images to each family member report
- Search widget adds a search sidebar widget that just searches family members and not your whole site
- Member shortcode adds the ability to display individual family member reports in any page or post in your blog

Download & install the zip archive
The plugin package installer can be downloaded from the WP2E project tab called “code”.
1 – Select the version to download if this option is available otherwise the “latest” version of the main plugin will be used.
2 – After downloading the zip archive install the plugin package installer in you local environment and activate the script from the plugin list.
3 – Under the section “Plugins” of the admin dashboard you should see a new “Dependencies & Licenses” link. Follow the instructions from this panel to finalize the installation of the missing dependencies.

- Install the suggested dependencies
Tips: Use the WP2E panel to add/suggest new dependencies to the local installation. Press F5 in the list of dependencies if the changes are not displayed right away.
